A Cornucopia of Cool Color-work Techniques with Patty Lyons
If you’ve always wanted to explore color work knitting, this is a great place to start! Learn all the techniques of one of Patty’s most popular pattern, the Labadee Cowl. In this class we will work a mini sample and learn all the secrets like the magical "unvented" contrasting color i-cord cast on, chart reading, slip stitch knitting, lifted floats, how to knit in your tail as you go, the contrasting color i-cord bind off and sooo much more. We’ll also learn some lifesaving tips on yarn control, joggles joins, circular knitting tips, swatching in the round and even fixing mistakes. By the end of the class you’ll be ready to tackle this incredibly popular pattern AND you can order the kit that includes the yarn to make the cowl, and a promo code to get the pattern (it’s included at 35% the price with the kit) it comes with 11 video tutorials so you can be reminded of everything you learned in class! Kits will be delivered on class day.
