Footie Socks for Everyone! with Miriam Felton
Do you mourn your hand-knit socks sitting in the drawer during the summer months? Do you want quick, easy, and comfortable socks to wear with your Danskos, Chucks, or clogs? Or just a simple stocking to wear around the house?
These footies are the answer! They are great for using up leftover yarn.
In this class we'll go over the techniques you need to work this pattern including the provisional cast-on, Make 1 left and right, short rows (including the shadow-wrap method), how to work a short-row heel, and how to pick up stitches.
We'll make a small version to demonstrate all the techniques that you can apply to this sock formula to make Footies for yourself and all your buds. Pattern included with the class.
Note: Students should have knit a sock in the past.
