Description:
This sock is easier and quicker to knit than a Cuff Down sock and is fit to the foot as you work on it. Once the basic techniques and tricks are learned, a written pattern is not needed. New and experienced sock knitters alike will benefit from these hints and hands of experience.
Basics:
Basics*: Sharp scissors; blunt tapestry needles (large & small); small calculator; pen/pencil/eraser; notebook & paper; stitch markers; flexible tape measure; crochet hooks of various sizes.
Supplies:
Basics*; 1 ball of firmly twisted worsted or sport wt/dk yarn; 3 sizes of dpns (worsted=size 3.25mm-4mm (US 3-5), sport=sizes 3mm-3.5mm (US 2-4)); tapestry ndl; sts markers; contrasting yarn.
