Class Title: Lining a La Chanel
Teacher: Jean Frost
Skill Level: Intermediate
Description: Learn how to assemble, sew in a lining, and finish a jacket in the manner in which Chanel couture garments are made. You may use any jacket pattern you wish to get and early start. Then get hands-on experience in lining and finishing your jacket like a pro!

****Please note this is a 6 hour class. It will ONLY show in the 1st time slot of the class******
Basics: Basics*: Sharp scissors; blunt tapestry needles (large & small); small calculator; pen/pencil/eraser; notebook & paper; stitch markers; flexible tape measure; crochet hooks of various sizes.
Supplies: Basics*; 2-3 yds of light wt silky lining fabric, depending on your size & jacket style; sewing thread to match & contrast the lining; sewing ndls; straight pins; scissors to cut fabric; yarn to complete garment.
Homework: Use any pattern to knit a jacket for this class. If time does not allow for all pieces to befinished, knit at least the back & one sleeve. Important - Block each piece. Do not assemble the jacket
