STITCHES West was a phenomenal success, and we don't know about the Getaway, since those people are just wandering around with silly grins on their faces! Thanks to everyone who took part, and to everyone behind the scenes who helped pull these events together! Now for Camp... coming soon!

Read and Relax:

Knitter's Trivia:
What was the first magazine to be 100% digitally produced? This means no printed documents, or photographic film were ever transported to a commercial printer, and no paste-up boards carried the text and graphics. All the information: text, photographs, charts and schematics were saved to digital media like floppies, Zip disks and optical disks.

Visit the Vasterheim Museum in Decora, IA. This Western Home of Norwegian immigrants showcases textiles and keepsakes from these Scandinavian settlers. Very interesting, lots of info, even more pictures! Go to Knitter's Timeline and click on the MITTEN!

Discover it all again. Read 100Years of Lopi. Alexis Xenakis tells the tale of Iceland's creation, her sweater designing monarch, and the wool she has helped make world famous.

It's a luxury most of us don't have... to wait for a break! Plan your peace of mind (and get a relaxed soul, and fun for the rest of your body, too...) at these varied events found on the Knitting Universe Calendar.

Find your own world in the Knitting Universe.
