We at XRX would like to challenge our STITCHES attendees, market participants, and our valued Knitter’s Magazine subscribers, to help Project Linus by knitting during the STITCHES Midwest weekend at our vigil on The Market Floor or drop off any completed blankets and squares at the Project Linus booth.

Project Linus is an all-volunteer organization that provides comfort and security to seriously ill and traumatized children through handmade blankets. Sharon Kurth’s local Chicago chapter of Project Linus launched its Mile of Hugs campaign on June 1st. At 3 feet each, that is only 1760 blankets.

Here’s how you can help…

Download: Using the pattern in the downloadable PDF knit one or more of the squares. All of the shipping information and details about this effort can be found in the PDF.

Or Phone: Call and get more information from Sharon Kurth (773) 339-3395.

Link-n-Loop: Get a friend involved by telling them about this effort. Send them the link (below) and challenge them to get the word out about Project Linus.
