Weave cloth that is double the width of your loom? Or weave pockets and tubes into the structure of your cloth? It is all possible when you expand your basic weaving skills and learn to make two layers on the rigid heddle loom. While weaving, the layers can be connected in various ways to make pockets or tubes in the fabric or cloth twice the width of your loom. These techniques can greatly increase the possibilities of what you can make with your loom and allow you to create more complicated looking patterns in your woven cloth or weave with finer yarns. During the class you will make a sampler while learning to thread the loom using two heddles and then weaving the layers in various ways. Don’t miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in a wonderful weaving experience and see the potential for endless exciting weaving projects.
