Most of us knit or crochet to relax. What do you do?

What'¬ôs the most unlikely place you'¬ôve ever knitted or crocheted?
While riding horseback in Patagonia.
Which knitting and crochet luminaries (living or dead) would you invite to a dream dinner party?
All the dead ones. I mean, when else would I get to see them?
What's your favorite tool in your knitting bag? Why?
Can't live without the Knit Kit now. Everything (just about) you need.
What's the latest knitting or crochet technique you learned that rocked your world?
Double-ended circular Tunisian crochet.
When you look at another designer'¬ôs work, what makes you say 'wow'¬Ě?
If it's something I'¬ôve not seen before 'new stitch or technique or shape'.
Have you ever seen one of your designs on someone '¬úin the wild'¬Ě? What's that feeling like?
Yes, love it. Especially love it when they do their own take on it. It then expresses their personality.
As a famous knitting (or crochet) teacher, you must travel a lot. Do you have any secret airport vices you'd like to share?
I'm now a million miler on American Airlines. Dunno if it's a vice, but I really love going to the Admiral's Club lounges. Nice and peaceful with free WiFi, muchies and drinks.
One last thing, what are you most looking forward to about STITCHES?
Figuring out what my next outrageous banquet outfit will be.
