ETC Intermediate Knitting on 2 Circular Needles — A to Z
How many of us really do shy away from knitting baby hats, mittens, socks and the like because of having to use those pesky double-pointed needles? Knitting is supposed to be fun and relaxing but for some of us working tiny rounds with many tiny sticks is a total nightmare or simply not worth the aggravation.
Join me in exploring the magic of 2-circular-needle knitting! Leave your double-pointed needles in their cases and come discover the infinite possibilities of knitting in rounds on 2 circular needles instead!
Try different methods of casting on and binding off while getting comfortable working your rounds 1 and 2 at a time on 2 circulars. Practice ways to easily and beautifully pick up stitches on any edge—thumbs, sock gusset, necklines — with no holes or gaps. Turn heels with confidence and laugh at kitchener stitch as you weave your way across a toe. Fine tune your shaping and finishing skills with different styles of increases and decreases.
Take any pattern written for double points and convert it to suit your circulars!
Walk away from this workshop loving all rounds equally and passionately no matter how small they may be!
