Easy You should know the basics, how to increase and decrease, and have made at least one project.
Intermediate You should have worked with a few stitch patterns and should be familiar wtih basic garment shaping.
Advanced You should have made several garments in various stitch patters and should comfortable making minor changes to patterns. Advanced is fun and challenging for thinking knitters.

Cornelia Tuttle Hamilton
Since there are painters and crafters on both sides of her family, it is not strange that Cornelia Tuttle Hamilton has applied her talent in combining colors and structure to designing handknits. Hamilton’s artistic endeavors began in her childhood, and she started selling her creations in her mid-teens. A true multi-crafter, she is proficient at embroidery, macramé and crochet but finally settled on handknitting at the age of 22. Her knitting career started in New York where she developed her talent during the early 80’s. There she designed for the knitting magazines and a private clientele as well as sold her handknits to better boutiques in Manhattan. The high point of her time in NY was a handknit collection under her own label that was sold to select boutiques in 20 states from Florida to Alaska.
The move over the Atlantic to Mariefred, Sweden gave her the peace and harmony to raise a family and develop her business and artistic creativity even further. Cornelia has written numerous articles on Swedish knitters and knitting for the American market and has 13 pattern books to her name, including Noro: Meet the Man published by Soho Publishing in the fall of 2009. Her latest design collection, Reflections, features the Poems Collection from Universal Yarn.
With her sons grown, she now divides her time between Mariefred and Atlanta designing and developing her own yarn line, Heaven's Hand.

They can be worked in different colors and with a combination of yarns. They are good way to use up some of your stash! Learn the method for working overhand knots in your knitting, examine garments and swatches using the technique, and take time to swatch different knot ideas or start on a knotted cowl of your own!

679-3 Intermediate Reflections: a Review of 5 New Stitch Patterns
With every new book that I do I try to include new techniques for my knitting audience... this one is no exception with five distinct stitch patterns used in six ways!
During this workshop you will learn zigzag short-rowing, an all-over buttonhole stitch, two different patterns with chevrons, surface weaving, and lattice cabling. We will be looking at the garments from the book and swatching the techniques.
