Easy You should know the basics, how to increase and decrease, and have made at least one project.
Intermediate You should have worked with a few stitch patterns and should be familiar wtih basic garment shaping.
Advanced You should have made several garments in various stitch patters and should comfortable making minor changes to patterns. Advanced is fun and challenging for thinking knitters.

Sharon Costello
Sharon started as a fiber artist in the mid 1980's with a small flock of sheep and a love of creative experimentation. Feltmaking soon became her passion. She has been a professional feltmaker and instructor since 1995 and travels throughout the USA, Canada and Europe sharing her felting skills and enthusiasm. Her work is featured in numerous fiber art and doll art books and magazines including; 1000 Textile Artists, 500 Felt Objects, Uniquely Felt, How We Felt, 500 Handmade Dolls, Shuttle Spindle and Dyepot Magazine, Spin-Off Magazine, Echos Magazine, and Fiber Arts Magazine.
She has produced two teaching DVD's and been featured on DYI (Home and Garden Television Network).
Her business, Black Sheep Designs, features her unique feltmaking kits, DVD's and supplies.

Create stunning cuff-style bracelets that combine the contrasting qualities of soft wool felt with the hard shine of glass, stone, and metal. Learn the art of traditional wet felt making (no knitting) and a range of techniques for surface embellishment. Create 'settings' for treasured objects without stitching or glue. This is a fun, 'everything goes' approach to surface design in felt. You will learn all about creating surface design in the 'wet felting' process while creating a one-of-a-kind, 3-dimensional fiber fish that can be used as a hanging art piece (no knitting required). We will combine wool, sheer fabrics, silks and synthetic fibers, designer yarns, wool locks, and beads to create fantasy fish full of texture and shine! Materials fee: $15.
