Basic Know basic stitches (knit, purl or single crochet, double crochet).
Easy You should know the basics, how to increase and decrease, and have made at least one project.
Intermediate You should have worked with a few stitch patterns and should be familiar wtih basic garment shaping.
Advanced You should have made several garments in various stitch patters and should comfortable making minor changes to patterns. Advanced is fun and challenging for thinking knitters.
Myra is a fiber artist, designer and author of Crazy Lace, Creative Crochet Lace and her new book, Knit in New Directions (XRX Books). She's appeared on tv shows including Knitty Gritty, Knit and Crochet Now, Uncommon Threads and online classes. Specializing in all things creative with a background in fine and graphic arts, Myra teaches a wide range of inspiring classes.

Come spend a few hours immersed in pure creativity with Myra Wood. She'll take you on a fiber adventure into the wonderful world of freeform knitting (and crochet). You'll discover endless ways to combine various knitting and/or crochet stitches and techniques to create your own unique purse. Color, texture and design will all be explored during this inspirational process. All you need are very basic knitting and/or crochet skills. Come prepared to play!

Short rows aren't just for shaping. Discover a whole world of creative knitting with endless possibilities using short rows for sweaters, bags, and anything else you can imagine. You'll combine tons of yarns in various colors to explore wavy designs without a pattern. Great to combine with other freeform techniques! You'll also learn how to incorporate short rows into existing patterns.
Note: Must have some short row experience.

Discover endless possibilities for creative lace shawls using Elizabeth Zimmerman's Pi Shawl recipe. You'll learn everything you need to create a circular shawl or home accessory including circular cast-on for Magic Loop knitting in the round, inserting lace patterns as desired and finishing your piece like a pro. It's easy as Pi!
Note: Must have basic lace knitting skills including chart reading.

Beautiful borders add so much to simple lace shawls. Learn how to knit or sew a border onto any triangular or circular shawl using traditional and improvisational methods. Charts for borders will be explored as well.

Crochet lace is easier than you think! If you can chain, single and double crochet, you can create incredible lacework in different directions without any patterns! Apply the basic logic of crochet lace as you create lace patterning for a beautiful triangular shawl. Learn to read crochet charts and make your own.
