Deb Gemmell
Deb Gemmell is co-owner of Cabin Fever with her sister Lyn. Together they have produced 9 books: Top Down for Toddlers, Button Up Your Top Down and Baby V are all top-down books for children, adults and babies; Teens and Tweens is compilation of several construction styles for teens; and a set of multi-gauge books entitled Need a Hat, Need a Sock, Need a Baby Cardigan, Need a Plus Cardigan and Need an Accessory. Deb has been teaching in local shops and at retreats, specializing in top-down raglan techniques with a special interest in getting them to fit and in encouraging knitters to add their own elements to make them their own creation.

As you work a baby-sized cardigan you will learn to use short rows to shape the neck of any raglan and transform it into a V-neck garment. It's easy. You will learn all the techniques needed to work a larger version just for you. You will be able to take any plain raglan and transform it into a V or crew neck using short rows.
