Vithard is a Danish knitwear designer and textile artist. He started knitting at the age of 10 and has worked professionally as a knitwear designer for the past 8 years. Heavily inspired by traditional Scandinavian knitwear patterns, Vithard loves the way that simple geometric shapes accentuated by different colors or different knitting techniques evoke incredible beauty and tell so many stories.
He has recently started spinning and is creating both traditional and art yarns.
As an experienced teacher, Vithard approaches his students with respect, patience and enthusiasm. Vithard is constantly writing up new patterns, that he sells via Ravelry while he's working on upcoming books and brainstorming new ideas.
