One of the best ways to learn Artfelt is through trial and error. That is this Artfelt workshop is all about. It is for those who would like to learn all there is about Artfelt in one day. The first few hours will be an interactive tutorial and demonstration on the different way the Artfelt method can be used with many samples to examine. The remaining time will be used to make small samples using these different methods. Students will be encouraged to experiment with different layering techniques, various roving, the inclusion of locks, beads, and ribbons. Although not one particular project will be made, through the creation of these small samples, students will go home knowing the many uses of the Artfelt paper and will be ready to get creative with it on their own.
