6112 Intermediate Basic Double Knitting Techniques Double knitting is pure magic. Using one method, a piece worked back and forth opens up as if it had been knit in the round. Using another method, the image created on the front of the fabric will appear in reverse image on the back. Learn both methods to create a small bag and a two-sided coaster while practicing appropriate cast-on, bind-off, and chart-reading techniques.

Saturday 8:30 am - 11:30 am
4082 Intermediate Downside Up Socks Turn tradition on its head! Use one long circular needle to knit a sock from the toe up. NEW
Saturday 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
3028 Intermediate A Well-Executed Sleeve Cap Learn how to design an armhole to fit YOUR body, then pick up and knit a perfect set-in sleeve from the top down with no unsightly seams! Bonus: use short rows to shape your sweater shoulders neatly and avoid those nasty stairsteps!

6108 Easy Basic Cable Techniques Do you love those beautiful textures, but think cables are too difficult? Think again! Conquering cable knitting is simply a matter of knitting your stitches in the proper order.
Right leaning or left leaning, back and forth or in the round, with or without a cable needle, Sarah will help you get it all sorted out. And while we're at it, let's demystify those wacky chart symbols, and whip a few mis-crossed cables into shape.
NEW
Sunday 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm
5122 Easy Tying Up Loose Ends When is the last time a pattern told you exactly how to weave in those pesky yarn tails? Don't you wish they would?
Learn multiple methods for dealing with the ends in garter stitch, stockinette stitch, seed stitch, ribbing, and lace, and in color stripes, Fair Isle, and intarsia. Clear up the confusion, so you can finish off your projects with ease.
