Judy Pascale, a native of Connecticut and a life-long knitter, launched her career as a professional knitting instructor and designer in the early 1990s. She has professionally sold her unique knitwear under the name The Judith Collection, both privately and at juried shows. For several years she was employed at a yarn shop where she taught knitting classes and assisted numerous customers with their knitting and finishing problems. She is now exclusively teaching knit and design classes with the emphasis on customizing fit.
The second phase of Judy's design career combined knitting with beads. Using a non-prestringing technique and textured stitches, she has designed classes from small projects to garments. The most recent phase is wet felting. This ancient textile process remains vibrant and fascinating today. Either a Nuno scarf to wear or a decorative table runner or a bowl to decorate your home—creativity is endless.
Besides teaching for STITCHES, her experience includes: The National Needle Art Association (TNNA), Vogue Knitting Live (VK Live), The Knitting Guild of America (TKGA), and yarn shops and guilds all over the country.
Most importantly, Judy has joined the ranks of other talented members of the knitting community whose explosive interest is creating a renaissance for the ageless art of knitting.

5119 Easy Never Separate and Always Equal
Looking for an alternative to separately attaching a band to an already knit panel? Wouldn't you love the luxury of being able to knit both at the same time? If it is a garment, vest, scarf or afghan, the secret is getting the same tension with both.
We will knit a sampler of compatible stitch patterns and edges that are time saving, attractive, and that achieve this amazing result. Using these will give a scarf or blanket a finished look on both sides. Now all your knit pieces can look polished and professional.
Friday 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm SOLD OUT
4047 Intermediate Beaded Vine Lace Scarf
The no pre-stringing technique allows the bead to slip onto an SSK or a k2tog to create a unique fashion accessory. You will complete critical segments of the Vine Lace and Eyelet Lace patterns in a mini version of the full-scale scarf. While attractive on their own, the patterns are enhanced when combined. Value added: Experiment with ways to wear scarves, including Judy's favorite-a braided technique that works with any scarf all day long.
Materials fee: $3

7082 No skills required Wet Felt Versatile Pendants
Spark your creativity by making unique free-form shapes to enhance any slide or chain. Combining wet felting with jewelry-making techniques, the hidden magnet allows your contemporary piece to be very versatile.
