6126 Easy Simply Beautiful Lace Knitting If you want to learn lace knitting, this class is for you! Kellie will take you from Zero to On Your Way in one class! You will choose one of three classic lace patterns and begin a pair of lovely wrist warmers. The construction is simple so you can focus on learning to read charts and patterns as well as reading the ebb and flow of the shaped stitches themselves. There will be time to relax and ease into ripping, fixing mistakes, and using a lifeline. Come and make something beautiful, useful, and timeless!

5029 Easy Mastering Yarn Substitution: Art, Science, or Black Magic? Learn to predict the results of yarn substitution by understanding yarn weights, fiber content, gauge, measuring, and how these elements interact with each other. Gain confidence and prevent disappointment as you learn why things can go wrong, then spend time practicing the basic math involved with a real pattern.

PP9 Basic Almost Instant Necklace Scarf Make some chains, cords, twists, or braids. Add beads. Put it all together into a unique piece that bridges the gap between scarf and jewelry. Kellie gets more compliments on these simple pieces than anything else she wears at STITCHES! For knit or crochet.

Materials: 20-30 yards of any yarn or harmonious combination of yarn, needles or hooks appropriate to yarn, large-holed beads similar to 'Pandora-style' bracelet collectible beads.

CC2 Intermediate Double Knit in Color Double knitting in color creates a two-sided, double-thick fabric with an image on one side and the exact negative of the image on the other side. In class, we will learn the basic steps and get started on a coaster-sized sample with a simple motif. This will require concentration and experience in reading patterns and instructions comfortably.
Materials: 50 yards of smooth, plain #4 (worsted-weight) yarn in two STRONGLY contrasting solid colors—wool or wool-blend preferred and US 7 needle.
