EASY You should know the basics of the craft and have made at least one project.
INTERMEDIATE You should be comfortable with the craft and ready to learn something new.
ADVANCED You should have made several projects and should be comfortable making minor changes to patterns. Advanced is fun and challenging for thinking crafters.
Joyce learned how to knit and crochet at the age of nine. She is a CYCA Certified Instructor in both knit and crochet. Joyce designs for numerous yarn companies and publications. Her most current designs can be found in Crocheted Afghans, 100 Hats to Knit and Crochet, 100 Crochet Projects, Great Garter Stitch, and Master in Crochet and Herrschner's Treasury of Crochet Afghans 2014 Calendar. She has taught since 1999 for CGOA, TKGA, TNNA, Craft Cruises, STITCHES Expos, local knitting/crochet guilds, and similar venues. Joyce loves to adapt knitting techniques into crochet. Her motto, â€śWhy should knitters have all the fun? If I can knit it, I will figure out a way to crochet it!â€ť

CR10 Basic Crocodile Stitch Crochet
This is a fun, textured stitch that's been popping up in lots of patterns recently. Learn the technique in this session!
Note: Must be comfortable with both single and double crochet.
Materials: 4 oz. one color of #4 (worsted-weight) yarn in one color, tapestry needle, scissors, and H crochet hook.

CR13 Easy Entrelac Crochet
Entrelac crochet is a way of doing Tunisian crochet so you end up with little blocks that form a complete row. This is the crocheter's version of Entrelac knitting. It can usually be done with a regular crochet hook and any size yarn. You will learn this stitch technique while making a small mat/coaster.
Materials: 1 oz. each #4 (worsted-weight) yarn in two colors, G crochet hook, scissors, tapestry needle.
