Stacey Trock
Stacey has been bringing fun into the craft world with her successful designs and blog, FreshStitches, since 2008. She is the author of multiple books and the instructor of several Craftsy courses. Stacey firmly believes there is no 'right way' to knit, crochet, or craft and experiments with a variety of techniques to achieve her desired finished product. This philosophy spills over into her teaching style; she enthusiastically guides students in the way that works best for them...crafting should be fun, of course!

7071 No skills required Fun with Needle Felting Did you know that with just one needle, you can turn a fluff of wool into an adorable animal? It's called needle felting! The scales on wool make it naturally want to cling to itself or 'felt.' (A lesson you've probably learned if you've accidentally thrown a sweater into the washing machine!) Learn how to harness this property of wool to make an adorable bear. You'll discover the basic technique of needle felting (which requires no water!) and how to add embellishments like beads and embroidery. Not only will you leave with a cutie, but you'll have the skills to tackle larger projects on your own. The best news? No experience in crocheting or knitting is required!
