Katrina Walker
Katrina Walker is a designer, educator, and author known for her expertise in textiles, construction techniques, and modern American pojagi piecework. Her work is featured in many magazines including Threads, SewStylish, Stitch, SewNews, and Creative Machine Embroidery. She is a popular instructor both at national sewing shows and online, where her classes for Craftsy, Taunton Workshops, BurdaStyle, Craft University, and Craft Daily have enrolled thousands of students worldwide.

When she is not creating in her studio, Katrina travels to spread her love of sewing with Pfaff and Husqvarna Viking sewing machines.

9001 Easy American Pojagi by Machine Patchwork, piecework – whatever you like to call it – we all love it! Take yours to a whole new dimension by exploring the beautiful world of Korean pojagi—single-layer piecework using alternative seaming methods to create gorgeous, reversible pieces of art. Explore several different techniques while you build a detailed reference notebook. As you create your samples, you will piece using silk, linen, and batiks. If you are looking to add a new dimension to your quilting, or try a new skill – this class is for you!
Note: Sewing machines provided for class use.

9003 Easy Divine Details Want to sew like a designer? Turn plain ordinary seams into Divine Details with beautifully decorative techniques and inserts. Add texture, color, and dramatic visual and artistic interest to your wearables. Build a detailed reference notebook with step-by-step instructions of all the techniques learned in class, and enjoy a trunk show of fabulous fashion and piecework garments. Taught by the instructor of Craftsy's popular 5-star rated "Decorative Seams".

9012 Easy Fit to be Fabulous Successful garment sewing requires great fit! Learn the steps to fitting your bodice and identifying required pattern adjustment areas. You will build a reference notebook as you practice making pattern alterations for common fitting challenges, including a full-bust adjustment that really works—no gaposis! Katrina is a Palmer/Pletsch Certified Fit Instructor.
