6229 Intermediate Reimagining Ripples Everybody loves a good ripple stitch. They are repetitive yet interesting, soothing yet engaging. But what happens when you bend the rules? Change the size of the ripples, mix up the increases and decreases, combine stitch patterns and yarn textures for a whole new way of looking at a familiar technique. Let's take what you already know and love about ripple stitches and reimagine them. Note: Must be comfortable with knitting and purling, increases and decreases. It is helpful to be able to read your knitting for this class.

8068 Easy Crochet Confidence You've got the basic crochet stitches down pat, but you still have questions. How do I tell the right side from the wrong side? Why are my edges crooked? How do I decrease without making a hole? How do I weave in ends invisibly and securely? How do I read a pattern? 2074 Intermediate Eye-Catching Edgings Crochet in on trend in fashion and home decor, so be a part of it with crochet edgings on your linens, handwovens, clothing, and, of course, knit and crochet pieces. Learn several ways to attach crocheted edgings, when to crochet-on vs. sew-on, and best practices for choosing yarns and edgings.  You'll get hands-on practice crocheting your choice of borders, as well as plenty of ideas for quick-to-make projects with lots of oomph!

Class time allows for sampling a couple of edgings and we will cover other options that you can practice at home.
