Geraldine Wilkins
A native New Yorker, Geraldine moved to Los Angeles in 1993 to begin her photojournalism career at the Los Angeles Times. After a successful 11-year career that garnered a Pulitzer Prize, she moved to Virginia in 2005 to work for a worldwide Christian magazine.


She began her quilting journey with a Virginia quilt group in 2006. Since then, she has made many quilts and is a member of national and local quilt associations. She had a 2-year term on the Virginia Star Quilters guild board and is a founding board member of the Fredericksburg Modern Quilt Guild.


Her quilts have exhibited in local and regional quilt shows, national touring events and shows with Hoffman Fabrics, and for the second time at a curated exhibit at the Virginia Quilt Museum beginning February 2018.
