1302 Easy Focus on the Improv Block Make an Improv Block the focus of your next composition: we will build the log cabin block using improv technique and small fabric pieces (scraps will work or even a charm pack). Then we'll discuss different ways to set the block into an interesting background design. Border options will complete the process- they may be curved strips or asymmetrical open spaces. It is completely up to you!

This process can be adapted to any size quilt and can go anywhere your imagination dares to take you.
