| Biography |
A California resident, this designer and teacher has been knitting since the age of 11. Along with her colorful design collection, Colleen also prides herself in helping to establish the North Coast Knitters group.

| What is your knitting mantra? |
Knitting allows me to to use the needles as a brush and dip into my pallet of yarns and create a wearable piece of art.

| What inspires you? |
Unusual color combinations and textures -- some from nature, some from buildings, some from fabrics or other artwork.

| Confess - when it comes to hiding your yarn, what are your secrets? |
I have the freedom of not having to worry about this. My yarn is all out in the open in my studio and baskets around the house.

To sit with knitting friends in a an inspirational setting and exchange design ideas.
