Biography |
I'm a child of this industry and have been surrounded by yarns my entire life. I grew up in my mother's retail store and learned to knit and design along with the other teachers. My college degree was in T.V. Advertising and Marketing but it was not as much fun as playing with yarn. I worked as a sales rep in the industry and fell in love with the people, the yarns and the creative process. In 1987, we went to Italy on vacation and was there during the Pitti Filati show. We rekindled old connections and knew it was time to get creative. Trendsetter was born and life hasn't been the same. Being a designer, author, teacher and company owner allows me to meet thousands of people and to share the passion that is indeed Trendsetter Yarns.
