Description: Hate finishing? Learn techniques that make it easy for anyone for the already confident knitter, fine tune the professional techniques for perfect seaming, picking up stitches, grafting, short rows, perfect cast ons and cast offs and much more.
Basics: Basics*: Sharp scissors; blunt tapestry needles (large & small); small calculator; pen/pencil/eraser; notebook & paper; stitch markers; flexible tape measure; crochet hooks of various sizes.
Supplies: Basics*; approx 50g worsted wt yarn in light color (same yarn used to knit swatches); 3 yds smooth cotton scrap yarn; ndls that give you 5 sts/inch on the yarn you’re using; 2 extra dpn in same size; Size H crochet hook; yarn ndl; size 18 tapestry ndl.
Homework: Using light colored yarn and 4.5mm (US 7) ndls knit the following swatches:Swatch A (make 4): CO 20 sts. Work 20 rows St st, BO.Swatch B: CO 40 sts. Work 16 rows St st.Swatch C (make 2): CO 20 sts. Work 8 rows St st. Place sts on a holder.
