Tunisian Crochet Lace with Robyn Chachula
Tunisian crochet is often confused as either knit or crochet, but its unique construction can often mimic woven fabric.
In class we will refresh ourselves on the basic Tunisian stitches, then dive into working it as lace. We will use 3 different techniques and break them down to see how rewarding the process can be as we explore:
* extended stitches
* yarn overs
* chain spaces
* combinations of all those.
Note: Students should be able to chain and work Tunisian Simple Stitch.
__Crochet Basics: Sharp scissors, Notebook, Pen or pencil with eraser, Stitch markers, Tapestry needles (large and small), Tape measure, Small calculator, Crochet hooks of various sizes
