There are various approaches to knitting sleeves, but there has to be a great marriage of armhole to sleeve cap. Take a sensible approach when creating your own designs.
Swatches, yarn and needles used to make swatches.
Homework: because of time limitations please use a worsted weight yarn and appropriate size needles. You may also choose to come to class with additional swatches to try additional options.
2 Swatches ready for shaping.
Swatch 1 Cast on 20 stitches and work for 4 inches, leave swatch on needle.
Swatch 2 Cast on 40 to 50 stitches and work for 4 inches, leave swatch on needle.
