Homework
Using smooth, light-colored yarn and appropriate needles for a gauge of 4-4.5 stitches per inch, cast on 20 stitches and work in stockinette stitch for 3 inches (no selvedge stitches). Place on a holder and not not cut yarn or block. Work a second swatch the same as the first. Bring the same needles and plenty of yarn for swatching in class.
