Tank Top Hack: How to Add a Sleeve to a Tank Top Pattern and Transform it into a Tunic or Dress with Jennifer Stern-Hasemann
Learn how to work with a basic tank top pattern to create a variety of styles. We’ll start by trying on sample tank tops to determine the best size to work with. See how easy it is to fine tune the fit of your pattern. Using your adjusted pattern pieces, I’ll show you how to add a sleeve. We’ll play with the hem length and shape to create tunic and dress pattern pieces. You’ll be surprised how fun and easy it is to create different looks from the same basic pattern. You will leave class with pattern pieces that are ready to sew together.
This class can be combined with 9062 Garment Sewing 101 for hands-on sewing time.
