Intro to Twined Knitting with Jeffrey Wall
Twined knitting is a traditional Scandinavian technique using two strands of yarn in either a single color or multiple colors. It is fun and it is easy. As you knit or purl, you twist (twine) the yarn with the strand last used, creating braids and crook stitches that pattern on the surface of the fabric. Learn why a z-twist yarn is ideal for Twined Knitting. A note for hand spinners: Twined Knitting projects are great for you; spin a s-twist yarn and ply it with a z-twist.
Note: Should be comfortable knitting in the round. Experience in 2-color knitting is NOT required.
