Quilting 101: Intro to Cutting and Piecing with Stephanie Soebbing
This class is for students with no or little sewing or quilting experience. Students will receive pattern and instructions for working the split-9-patch block and learn:

Cutting with rulers and rotary cutters,
Sewing a quarter-inch seam,
Piecing a quilt block.

These basics will get you started, then you will receive links to a free online course where you can learn how to finish the quilt at home.

Machines provided for use in the class.


Supplies
__Patchwork/Quilting Basics: Needles, Thread, Sharp scissors, Notebook, Pen or pencil with eraser, Tape measure, Seam ripper, Pins

Homework
None.

Kit Fee: $24 for enough materials to create six 18" blocks, which can be sewn into a table runner (one yard for background and five 7-inch strips of focus fabrics).
