Big Stitch Quilting with Gyleen Fitzgerald
In this workshop students will learn three different, “fast”, hand-quilting stitches to use alone or as an added design element to machine quilting. Gain knowledge on which needle to use, thread choices, and how to select and use the right stencil. By the end of class, students will have developed a personal “hand” stitch.
Materials fee: $15 for perle cotton, stencil, marking pencils, Sashiko needles, and handout
Small quilt top (18" square or placemat size or bigger) OR soft 30" square light fabric;
