Edie teaches online at Craftsy.com and Creativebug.com and she serves as a Master Teacher for the Craft Yarn Council's Certified Instructors Program, helping train others to become knitting and crochet teachers. She has written a number of best-selling crochet books including The Crochet Answer Book, Around the Corner Crochet Borders, and Every Which Way Crochet Borders.

We'll explore post stitches, third-loop stitches, split stitches, long stitches, folding stitches, linked stitches, and other results of beyond-the-ordinary hook insertions.

Learn several ways to attach crocheted edgings, when to crochet-on vs. sew-on, and best practices for choosing yarns and edgings.  You'll get hands-on practice crocheting your choice of borders, as well as plenty of ideas for quick-to-make projects with lots of oomph!

Class time allows for sampling a couple of edgings and we will cover other options that you can practice at home.
