Gretchen Fancher
Gretchen Fancher teaches and manages the education programming for Lion Brand Yarn Studio in NYC and Lion Brand Outlet in NJ. After receiving many requests to offer the programming at Lion Brand Yarn Studio elsewhere in the country, she is bringing some of the classes she teaches in NYC to STITCHES students. Gretchen has been knitting for over 20 years, and teaching beginner to advanced level classes at Lion Brand Yarn Studio for the past 6 years. As a teacher she believes that mistakes are where the learning happens; she encourages students to ask, observe, and make mistakes in class so they can develop the ability to recognize and solve their own knitting problems at home.
