Karen Pharr
Growing up surrounded by quilting, Karen didn't begin practicing the craft until after a high-tech career. Although she started by taking a class so she could hand-quilt like her grandmother, it took less than a week to realize machine quilting was her future! Now Karen is an award-winning quilter with quilts shown internationally in quilt shows and art galleries.

As a teacher, pattern designer, author, and quilter, Karen loves to coach students through new fun approaches and creative techniques—which they can then apply to their own quilting styles. A yes-you-can attitude flows throughout her classroom, helping everyone become the quilter they want to be.
